Little Devils

I have a little thing for rubber duckies.  There's a whole row of them sitting around my bathtub, some of them in costume, and a few devils as well.  So when Create with TLC posted their "Just Ducky" freebie stamp, of course I had a driving need to use it.  They look all sweet and innocent on the surface, but we know better.  And the current challenge at Copic Creations fit in perfectly, No. 33 - Reflections.  The ABC Challenge B is for Blue also fit this nicely.

To make the reflection part easier, I used Photoshop.   Copied the ducks and inverted them, then toned down the black to a light gray and added a brush filter to blur it slightly.  Ran a cat's-eye metallic ink over the edge.

Copics used:  Y08, Y11, Y15, Y17, YR02, BG01, B21, G20.
The horns are Copic C3 topped with a gray Sakura Glaze pen topped with clear Sakura glitter pen.
A little black Glaze on the eyes, and Signo white uni-ball to accent.

Background was stamped with SEI Turquoise, Tiffany, and Ocean Deep, with a little Cumquats on the upper right corner.  These are small stamp pads so I just took the pads themselves and lightly swiped them over the paper in a brushing motion, I think it's a fun effect.  The blue denim paper is embossed with the Tim Holtz Swirls folder.  Font is kokekoko light, devil horns from a digiscrap kit by KelliesKreations.  And Icicle Stickles smudged around the top.
