Hot ninja love

I look for lots of excuses to color now that I've gotten into Copics.  So the Free Digital Stamps blog is a daily stop, and today they pointed out a fun freebie and challenge from Making Our Mark - Ninja Challenge!  The chibi ninja freebie was too cute to pass up, and somehow I managed to make this card in under two hours (a record!).

You'll notice that I had to alter the image slightly to turn him into Cupid Ninja, holding a heart instead of a throwing star.  Watch out!  Love is out to get you!!

Cupid Ninja was printed on Cryogen White cardstock (the sparkle is awesome under dark coloring!) and colored with R46, N3, N6, 110, E50, E00, and the heart in RV29 and white Signo pen.  After I cut him out I inked the edge with the 110 marker so he wouldn't have any glaring bright highlights anywhere - ninja is of the shadows, after all.  Bazzill Black Tie embossed with the Tim Holtz Regal Flourishes folder.  Font is Arabolical, printed on vellum and adhered to Bazzill Fire Hearts, edge inked with RV29.  All on top of black glitter cardstock, and a card base of Bazzill Fire Hearts.  And as if the black glitter isn't enough I smeared some Burgundy Stickles around the top and bottom.
